Victoria Quays is one of the best spots in Sheffield, especially when it’s sunny. A pint outside of the Dorothy Pax on a summers evening is bliss. Cormorant Kitchen is opening just in time for potential heat waves, another excuse to wander down to the Quays.
Cormorant Kitchen has been in the pipe line for a while and the canal side has been lacking a partner for the Dorothy Pax, the wait should be worth it.
The food? Expect high-end, seasonal dishes with a menu (plenty of vegan options) put together by Joseph Sorsby who has spent a couple of years working in a Michelin star kitchen.
One of Cormorant Kitchen’s directors is Morgan Davies, is the man behind another of our favourites, Barrow Boy. This ain’t going to be no craft beer bar though, they’re keeping things classy with wine and cocktails, served for outdoor drinking.
Fingers crossed for a summer! We can’t wait for this one…
