To coincide with Castlegate Festival 2021 the Sheaf and Porter Rivers Trust will be running free walking tours next month.
The ‘How the Sheaf was Lost and How we Can Get it Back Again in Castlegate’ tour, is where you’ll learn the historic importance of the river, why it was buried for 150 years and future plans as it is to play a part in Castlegate’s regeneration project.
The tours will take place on Saturday 11th, 18th and Sunday 19th September.
