Rhyme & Rhythm

Doc/Fest weekenders continue with Rhyme & Rhythm

This years Doc/Fest has been a little different to previous years (for obvious reasons) but they’ve continued to drop good stuff throughout 2020.

As one of the biggest documentary festivals in the world they’ve used technology to keep their audience engaged despite social distancing  restrictions getting in the way.

This week is the third in a series of Autumn weekenders held at The Showroom from today (Fri 30th Oct) through to Sunday (1st Nov).

“Rhyme & Rhythm is where cinema and other art forms meet, through performance – traditional and contemporary dance, and theatre; photography; and music – classical, electronic, gypsy folk, and post-punk.

Premieres include new titles from Edgardo Cozarinsky, Jérôme Bel, and Lynne Ramsay.

From the UK and Serbia, across Europe, to Argentina and Iran, a diverse range of creative talent both in front of and behind the camera will rock and shine in this year’s Rhyme & Rhythm selection, offering encounters and inspirations to a different beat.”

Not able to make it this weekend? No probs, the films will be streamed online until the 12th November.
