Looking for your new favourite Sunday roast hotspot? Look no further than Dysh who are happy to do the hard work for you.
The coffee shop and kitchen on Ecclesall Road which opened March is run by Stuart and his partner, Alice who is a Michelin trained chef so you know you’re in for something special. Everything is cooked in house (save some room for their amazing cakes!) and there’s plenty of GF options.
But, we were there for the roasts and they did not disappoint. They’ve only just added them to their menu but you’d be forgiven for thinking they’d been serving these up for years. There’s 3 options, Moss valley pork belly with orange and fennel stuffing, rosemary and garlic roast leg of lamb or a vegan dish of the day.
We’re both meat eaters so we went for the meats which are partnered with a large Yorkshire pudding and richly flavoured gravy and stuffing.
The veg is there to share with generous portions of dripping roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese with pangrattato, honey glazed roast parsnips, buttered greens with toasted pine nuts and celeriac and truffle mash.
Sunday Roasts are available from 12pm and cost £17.95 person. Get down early before they sell out!
If you’ve not visited Dysh yet we highly recommend you do so, their tots are iconic, perfect for brunch/hangover whilst their coffee comes locally from Cafeology.
Dysh is open 9am – 5pm Tuesday – Sunday
The kitchen closes at 3.30pm Tuesday – Friday and 4.30pm Saturday & Sunday.
