elm 2.0

elm 2.0 to launch next week

We’ve been waiting for this news for a while now, elm returns! The former Shalesmoor foodie hang closed its doors with the rest of the hospitality sector back in March but announced a few months later that they won’t be reopening on Gibraltar Street.

This evening they have confirmed a new location, 355 Glossop Road and a new start, from scratch.

The good news, they’ll be reopening next week but just for takeaway coffee whilst they find their feet once again. This will be followed by a selection of takeaway snacks and the end goal of the stripped back elm is for ticketed wine and cheese events.

They hope to bring elm back to where they left off before lockdown but they don’t want to rush into anything until they feel their future is safe.

If Boris ruined your week with his speech yesterday, at least you can grab a coffee from elm next week without getting a fine.
