Lockdown Update: Knots 'n' Niggles

It’s been a mad few weeks. Our daily lives have changed, we miss seeing the friendly faces behind our favourite independents. We are sure you do too, so we thought we’d check in.

Not only have they had to adapt their own lifestyle to the new normal, their business has had to change too.

We caught up with Gemma, physiotherapist and owner of Knots ‘n’ Niggles!

What was your initial reaction to lockdown?

Devastated and scared for everyone. It’s taken some adjusting and accepting!

How has your business changed over the past few weeks?

We’ve had to close business completely. We’ve been trying to put out some content on our Insta and Facebook to help everyone as much as we can.

How do you see the long-term impact on small businesses?

It feels as though we’re going to have to start from scratch again with the effect on the economy. Let’s hope we’ll be able to come back more motivated and stronger though.

What has been your daily coping strategy in these crazy times?

Literally just listening to my body, I think keeping busy can be great but everyones forgetting how draining this adjustment is on our bodies emotionally so rest is just as important. I’ve personally tried to implement a new routine and keep doing little things each day that provide fulfilment and enjoyment, I think it’s helped 🙂
