Bears of Sheffield is an amazing campaign, focused on raising funds to transform the Cancer and Leukaemia ward at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Schools and nursery pupils from all across Sheffield will decorate 100 little bears, whilst companies will sponsor and decorate a further 60 big bears. Once completed, they will all feature in a unique city-wide bear sculpture trail, set to launch July 2021.
This public art exhibition will not only help raise vital money for this important cause, but also unite the city and be an important symbol of hope and positivity.
With that in mind, Malin Bridge Primary are looking for help to purchase their very own bear. This will stand proudly in the summer trail before kicking its paws up and retiring to Malin Bridge.
After what has been an unprecedented academic year, this furry friend will provide a ray of positivity and be a constant reminder of how the whole community has banded together for this great cause.

To top it off they’ve also launched ‘Our Malin Bear Raffle’ which you can enter by donating either £5 for 5 tickets or £10 for 15.
