Mong Ta pop-up at Union Street – Sheffield City Centre!
2020 might have been a write-off for the hospitality sector but it certainly gave a lot of time to plan new creations as there seems to be more and more exciting openings coming up, one of them being Mong Ta, who we can’t wait for.
Their pop-up kicks off on Friday 2nd July with a soft launch event (full details here) where they’ll be serving up incredible dishes from their new menu. Can’t make it? No worries, they’ll be sticking around for a while!
Mong Ta is all about truth and honesty, dishes cooked from family recipes, meals that wouldn’t taste out of place on the streets of Vietnam but elevated to restaurant standard without being overly fancy. They want to keep things real and simple where the focus is on the ingredients and the story behind the meal.
Expect vibrant small plates, flavoursome bowls of pho as well as noodle and rice dishes, not to mention the Vietnamese classic French-inspired sandwich, Banh Mi.
This is their second pop-up event having already popped up in London at the English National Ballet.
