Sheffield’s National Videogame Museum has received funding from the arts council. Like many museums and charities, the National Videogame Museum, based in Castlegate has struggled to survive due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This morning they wrote “Earlier today (12th October 2020) we were delighted to find out that we have received critical support from Arts Council England’s Culture Recovery Fund. This grant enables us to keep operating through these incredibly unprecedented times. We’d like to thank all of our supporters, who have kept us going through our darkest hours at the start of lockdown, with this further funding allowing us to rebuild as the pandemic continues.”
