Sheffield’s Old Town Hall in Castlegate, Sheffield City Centre has finally been granted permission for redevelopment after years of back-and-forth.
The grade II listed building, opposite where Castle Market once stood was built in 1808 and was used in various capacities until 1997, it has been unoccupied ever since.
The new development will see former jail cells converted into hotel rooms whilst the basement will include a mixed-use marketplace and foodhall.
We can’t wait to see how it evolves!
