UPDATE: Unfortunately they won’t be opening due to staff isolating.
This weekend sees The Sheffield Brewery Co. reopen their doors to the public for the first time since October to their tap room.
The Kelham Island brewery had already started working on turning their semi-permanent tap room into a bar that will be a key feature on any Kelham Island pub crawl before the pandemic arrived. One of the main challenges has been making it accessible, not easy for a building that was built in 1875.
This weekend the tap room will open Friday and Saturday evening but be gentle with them, this is just a soft launch as they test things out.
Keep an eye on Facebook for launch date news.
The Sheffield Brewery Co. are an award winning brewery who’ve been brewing real ale and craft beer since 2006. The tap room, on the corner of Percy Street and Burton Road in Kelham Island gives drinkers the opportunity to taste their beer at its freshest, within touching distance of where it has been made.
