Sheffield charity Akin launch school uniform campaign

Akin is a charity that initially launched when founder Ben was living in Hawaii and noticed a lack of school uniforms and supplies was a barrier for education. Ben used his artistic background to create a fashion line where the profits paid for school uniforms for kids around the world.

The past year has been a struggle for many, especially for low-income families so for the first time ever Akin is launching a campaign to support families in Ben’s hometown of Sheffield.

How does it work? It’s pretty simple. Buy a nice piece of clothes here and the money will then go towards paying for school uniforms for those in Sheffield who can’t afford them in the next academic year.
