Pizza fans, turn that frown upside down, Pizza Express on Devonshire Street won’t be reopening but something(s) much better will be taking its place. On 21st May Sheffield city centres new cocktail bar Hemingways opens, expect lounge bar vibes as live music plays quietly in the background so you can catch up with mates whilst enjoying your cocktails. There will also be a separate dining area where dishes will be cooked on hot stone and a large beer selection will be available to go with your meal.
Downstairs from Hemingways you’ll find ROFL Comedy Club. This is the only venue in South Yorkshire with triple headliner shows every Friday and Saturday night. Hosted by local comedian (and former cage fighter) Joe Zalias, expect faces from the TV.
We’ve all had a tough year, it’s time for a chuckle.
