Last week The Forum announced that it was to temporarily close as there was COVID-19 cases linked near the venue.
Following a deep clean and new safety measures put in place the venue is to reopen on Friday.
The venue wrote on Facebook:
“After keeping our doors shut this week, we are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening this Friday at 4pm 💙
Last week we took the the responsible decision to close our doors, to ensure the safety of our team and customers.
Whilst we’ve been closed, we have ensured the building has been deep cleaned by professional contractors and have had further training with our team to tighten up our COVID secure safety measures.
After today’s announcement, we will of course be adopting the new regulations; wearing masks, only offering table service and closing in line with the 10pm curfew.
From the start, we’ve adhered to NHS Test and Trace isolation regulations, and will therefore be bringing our team back on an individual basis.
This does mean that we will be opening on a reduced capacity, with drinks only, until our entire team are able to safely work again.
Our opening days, times, and service will look like this:
Friday 25th September: 4-10pm *Drinks only*
Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September: 12-10pm *Drinks only*
Monday 28th- Thursday 1st Oct: 4-10pm *Drinks Only*
From Friday 2nd Oct, everyday: 12pm-10pm *normal service resumes! Food 12-9pm*
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support over this last week.
And to everyone that had their booking moved to @commonroom or @theoldhouse at such short notice. Thank you for bearing with us in these very strange times.
It goes without saying that we owe the teams in those two venues a massive thanks too!
We can’t wait to see you all again.
The forum 💙”
