This Is Sheffield have collaborated with Welcome To Sheffield in their Make Yourself At Home campaign to create ‘The Shop’. A one-stop shop full of Sheffield’s much-loved independent makers and creators, launched just in time for Christmas!
2020 has been a difficult year for independents as the COVID-19 pandemic has forced some to close, adapt or just about get by. Not only that, supporting these guys hasn’t exactly been easy either, especially during lockdown when non-essential shops have had to close.
We’re firm believers in shopping local because buying from small independent businesses makes the biggest of differences!
Not only are you supporting an actual person, but you are also supporting a dream. What’s more, you get a unique product that you wouldn’t find in a high street retailer and your money also goes back into the local economy. Win win!
From handmade toys and crafted jewellery, to quirky art prints and festive Christmas cards, ‘The Shop’ has it all.
