There’s some great, affordable spots in the city that will satisfy both your tastebuds and stomach such as The Forum on Division Street, Howst on Howard Street, in Broomhill you’ve got Proove Pizza and you can’t go wrong with fish and chips from Ranmoor Friery. Ecclesall Road and Sharrow Vale are packed with places to eat cheap including burritos from Street Food Chef, Roneys do great pork sandwiches whilst Graze Inn is a crowd pleaser.

Sheffield is full of great places to eat and drink. It’s a city known for its beer but there’s options for every kind of drinker.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to go to Spoons for a pint under a fiver. Head to Kelham Island for Shakespeares, The Fat Cat and Kelham Island Tavern where you’ll find locally brewed real ale for £3. Ecclesall Road has craft beer spots The Portland House, The Eagle or the Ecclesall Ale Club, as does Broomhill with The Itchy Pig and The York whilst Division Street has The Gatsby, The Forum, Common Room, The Old House and Bungalow & Bears offering the best of everything.

Kelham Island Museum tells the story of Sheffield’s industrial heritage, the National Emergency Services Museum is the only one like it in the country, as is the National Videogame Museum.
Into art? Check out the Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery and Site Gallery, or just wander the streets and keep your eyes open for pieces but some of the best artists in Sheffield.
There’s skateparks (House), swimming pools (Ponds Forge), ice rinks (Ice Sheffield), climbing centres (Foundry) but there’s also plenty of places to explore for free. Botanical Gardens, Endcliffe Park and the Peak District (which isn’t far away) are great opportunities to get some fresh air.
