Sheffield shows Love For Lebanon with fundraiser

The team at Sheffield gym Prime Mover Fitness hope to raise £10,000 supporting Lebanon following the explosion that destroyed the city earlier in the month.

They are looking for both participants (to run, walk, row or cycle) and donators to help them do this.

The plan is to cover the distance between Sheffield and Beirut on treadmills, rowing machines and exercise bikes in the gym (you don’t need to be a member of the gym to get involved).

From 1st September to the 18th September participants will log miles while out and about exercising aiming to cover enough miles to reach the Bulgaria/Turkey border. On the 19th, they will complete the journey to the site of the explosion in Beirut at the gym for 12 hours (socially distanced, of course), covering the last approx 1000 miles

Donate here. Donations will go to the Red Cross Beirut Emergency Appeal.
